Is it possible to give 10 stars? Our group of 10 all feel like we could give 10 stars. Everything was perfect from start to end. Ryan, of course was a great source of info from beginning to end. He was most helpful in all of our planning stages. Olbin and crew provided the best experience while there. His cooking was out of sight. So goooood. The property was breathtaking. We couldn't stop commenting on the beauty. The mountains were gorgeous. We did white water rafting which was so much fun. Next day, zip line and hot springs which was so exhilarating. 2 things that are a must do. The staff and crew waited on us hand and foot. Cant day enough about this experience. One day, will come back. The only bad part was leaving....

A trip of a lifetime! Imagine gorgeous scenery, beautiful accommodations, delicious food prepared just for you, friendly staff who obviously love their jobs and want to do things for you and, to top it all off, a massage at the bottom of a waterfall!! Volleyball in the jungle followed by fresh squeezed orange juice and a dip in the hot tub? I cannot speak highly enough of Las Cascadas. It truly was an incredible experience. We didn't feel like we were staying at a hotel or a large impersonal resort but rather that we were being welcomed among friends. The staff take pride in what they do and were happy to share their culture and expertise with us. Thank you for making our holiday so special and memorable.

A more reflective review. It's easy in those first few days to gush about how wonderful the lodge was - stunning location allowing complete connection with nature - amazing staff who looked after each need, want and whim, adventure and activities as you step out your door. Quite literally, you have the option of wrapping yourself in one of the lodge's fluffy bathrobes, grabbing a coffee and sitting in a lounge chair listening to the falls, or suiting up in splash gear to descend same falls with the attentive staff. I've stopped chasing friends and co-workers around enthusiastically scrolling through dozens of stunning photographs. It's still an amazing high, but something else is resonating with me now. It's the people who make Las Cascades Lodge their home, and their willingness to share it with you. The staff are proud of the lodge, the world they have created, and they delight in sharing it with you. They may not all speak your language, but a heartfelt smile is universal. Private chef Olvin prepared stunning meals, and patiently guided us on hikes through his jungle - pointing out flowers, birds, bugs and presenting us with fresh coconuts and cacao. He was also gracious enough to let us watch him make his famous hot sauce, smiling as we frantically tried to guess the amounts. I've tried to replicate the recipe, it's close, not quite right (and it shouldn't be) It's another level of sharing your experiences when you can bring home pictures, and place a jar of Honduran hot sauce and crackers on the table for people to experience. It was a trip of a lifetime, and one that will resonate for years

Wonderful stay at this only all inclusive resort along the Rio Cangrejal river. You will not be dissappointed with your stay at Las Cascadas Lodge! By far on one of the most tranquil and luxurious resorts that we have visited that offers something for everyone- rest and relaxation with private waterfalls on site, lots of birdwatching and butterflies around your secluded cabana. We stayed in the Bajuco Cabin (most luxurious) and spacious with outstanding views of their waterfalls from your front porch! For more adventure seekers- enjoy hiking and rappeling down the falls just steps from your cabana, with memorable and professional bilingual guides (Olvin & May) Delicious food prepared fresh from the kitchen with an upscale cuisine and service. Thank you for the amazing stay.
